St. Aidan Wishaw 1

We went to Comboni house; the day was to let people know what is happening exactly in Africa. We had to participate in 3 activities. We reead about things that are happening in Africa and watched some clips. We did a meditation listened to a story and visualised it. We listened to Sister Aurora and how she went to Sudan and experienced the life in Africa, and how young boys of the age of 10-14 are killing people and taking others to be like them. She also showed us some clips of when she was there. They were devastating and made me feel how lucky I am to have all the things I have. I felt like this because we have so much stuff that we don’t appreciate enough, and they appreciate the littlest things. It’s just so sad to see things like that. It made me think of all the things they need like: food clean water, clothing, medicine, money, education and a happy life to live. We are so lucky to have clean water, food and an education. The mass at the end of the day was full of such concern. Thank you very much for letting us come and know what is happening out there. God bless you (Heather Wallace)
