secondary schools and universities

We went on the Comboni retreat to reflect on how lucky we are to help us with decisions on making our choices, and to get closer to God. The activities we participated in were meditation, films and newspaper articles with Fr. Donato and Sister Aurora told us about missionaries and talked about her life and showed us pictures. In the session with Fr. Donato I felt angry because of the way people were treated and sad and helpless because I couldn’t do anything. In the session with Sister Aurora I felt really upset because of the way some people lived and I realised I was oblivious before of how bad some people’s lives are and I realised how lucky I am. In the meditation I felt relaxed and in a word of my own. I remember these activities because I was touched by what Fr. Donato and Sister Aurora were saying. To me the day was touching because of everything I was told and successful because I learned about what is going on in the world. I think God was with us throughout the day but mainly when we prayed at mass.  Thank you for a wonderful day, I will certainly remember it. (Katy Reid)
