Our Objective

As “Youth Ministry Team”, we are pleased to let you know that, from the background of our missionary experience, we are available to give our input on the following themes to Secondary Schools, to Youth groups and whoever may be interested to hear about them.

The objectives of the "Comboni Youth Team"

We believe that for us missionaries giving talks to Secondary Schools and Youth Groups is to be like a "window open to the world" at the service of Young People and of other committed groups.

The service we give has a special outlook

It is the "Missionary Outlook". It offers a service enlightened by our missionary experience, lived as Comboni Missionaries, among different ethnic groups of people of different countries and continents. It tackles a number of issues, religious and social, which are relevant to our society and to the world today. The members of the teams are people who were and are directly involved in those issues at personal and group level and can share a lot out of their direct experience.

The topics we are tackling

As “Comboni Youth Team”, we are pleased to let you know that, from the background of our missionary experience, we are available to give our input on the following themes to Secondary Schools, to Youth groups and whoever may be interested to hear about them.As for the Secondary Schools, in order to have a better follow up, it would be good to take up the themes according to the R. E. (Religious Education) programme, keeping into account also the “age group”. Though all the topics can be addressed and adapted to all the classes, some topics, e.g. “Arms Trade and Child Soldiers” may be more suitable for upper classes.
