Rachel

St. Aidan Wishaw 3

The day was to reflect and think about choices and other peoples choices. We had to listen to Fr. Donato and Sr. Aurora about the choice that they made and then we also had a meditation session to let us relax and reflect on a bible story. During the day I felt helpless because I couldn’t do anything to help the people and I also felt a bit annoyed because we have so much whereas in poorer countries they have only a little or nothing at all which is really sad. I remember how Sister Aurora told us about her experience and how her faith in God kept her going, which was really touching for me and really amazing, the amount of courage that she had. Over all I thought that the day was good and thoughtful day and I was very touched by what I had been told. I believe that God was in everybody’s hearts and in our thoughts and feeling that we showed towards what we had been told. I would definitely recommend this trip to others as it was fun and I learned and felt a lot during it. I really appreciate the time you took to tell us about your choices and experiences and thanks for a great day. (Rachel Fraser)
